We all have a rough draft of the way we want our lives to look. Within this rough draft, it's easy to start acknowledging the parts that don't seem realistic or achievable. Once we start over-analyzing how "impossible" our plans seem to be, we start coming up with Plan B.
Plan B is what I like to call the Ego's Plan. This is the plan that you'll embark on if Plan A doesn't work. The plan that isn't nearly as good as Plan A, and it's kind of like the backup option.
Well I'm here to hit you with the hard truth.
THERE SHOULD NEVER BE ANY OTHER PLAN EXCEPT FOR PLAN A.
Here are the top 5 ways to ensure that Plan A always works:
1) TRUST THE PLAN
When you are so invested, determined, and passionate about something, you'll do whatever it takes to make it work. Believe so fully and deeply in whatever your plan may be that you leave yourself with no other option besides success.
2) SET ACHIEVABLE GOALS
Make sure Plan A is completely achievable for you. That being said, don't sell yourself short. Often times we underestimate our abilities. Start recognizing that you can do ANYTHING you set your mind to. Start thinking about different goals you may have and acknowledge the goals you get really excited thinking about. Those are the goals you should start to conquer first.
3) INVEST TIME & ENERGY
Be proactive. Don't just sit around and wait for your dream to become a reality. Start by making a daily schedule and planning out how much time per day you plan to invest in your goal. This will allow you to hold yourself accountable for putting in the time and energy.
4) MANIFESTING SUCCESS
THOUGHTS BECOME THINGS! Step into your inner child and day dream about your goals. Create a vision board, journal through the process, and meditate! These exercises are inspired by the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction is based around the idea that "like energy" attracts "like things." ASK. BELIEVE. RECEIVE.
5) STAYING GROUNDED & ALIGNED
Aligning yourself with your Plan A is one of the most important steps in this process. If you aren't in alignment with your mind, body, and soul then you certainly won't be in alignment with your plan. Take care of yourself during the time in which you want to achieve your goal. Focus on your mental, physical, and emotional health. Practice meditation, yoga, mindfulness, and journaling.
